1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CreadLayer platform ("the Service"), operated by Veriton AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

• "Worker" means an individual who creates a trust profile on CreadLayer for identity verification
• "Employer" or "Merchant" means a business entity that uses the Service to verify workers
• "Trust Score" means the numerical rating generated by our AI engine based on verified data
• "Digital Workforce ID" means the portable identity credential issued to verified workers

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Service Description

CreadLayer provides:

• Identity verification through biometric KYC, document checks, and liveness detection
• Trust score generation based on verified data points
• Portable Digital Workforce IDs for verified workers
• Employer verification dashboards and API access
• Incident management and dispute resolution

5. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information during verification
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restricted data
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without permission

6. Data Ownership and Consent

You retain ownership of the data you submit. By using the Service, you grant us the right to process your data for verification and trust scoring purposes. You may withdraw consent at any time, which will suspend further processing.

7. Trust Score Disclaimer

Trust scores are generated based on verified data available at the time of calculation. Scores are provided as a reference tool and do not constitute a guarantee of any individual's character, reliability, or future behavior. Employers should use scores as one factor among many in their decision-making process.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veriton AI Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
